Harmony Home Healthcare opened the doors of its future Main Street Ligonier office location on Saturday, October 14th for the 58th annual Fort Ligonier Days celebration. The festival commemorates the Battle of Fort Ligonier, a turning point in the French and Indian War, fought in 1758. The ever popular family outing showcased a plethora of craft booths, food vendors, live entertainment, open storefronts, and of course, meticulous reenactments.
Harmony welcomed employees, friends, family, and parade route passersby to stop in, speak with us about our valuable services, and peruse our informational material. The Original Pie Shoppe's decadent cinnamon rolls, along with crisp mimosas, welcomed guests to our newly renovated space.
"I believe everyone enjoyed the festivities. We look forward to our future growth with the Ligonier Valley Community in future endeavors," said Arthur Hoopes, CEO.
We hope to see you next year at Fort Ligonier!

Harmony Home Healthcare is proud to participate in National Wear Red Day--a day when we pause in remembrance of the women who have lost their lives due to heart disease, and raise awareness for women's heart health! There is a common misconception that heart disease is primarily a man's issue, but in fact, heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States!
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), heart disease killed 289,758 women in 2013, which equals out to 1 in every 4 female deaths. Additionally, the American Heart Association has reported that, in 2013, heart disease took the life of 1 woman every 80 seconds. This amount is equal to the female deaths caused by diabetes, chronic lower respiratory disease, and cancer combined!
Today, for all of these reasons and more, we wear red. We thank all of our internal and external employees who proudly showed off their red attire with us, and invite you to do your part to spread the word to your friends and loved ones about the importance of heart health!
